Kwik Chek Gets Proactive With PriceAdvantage

BONHAM, Texas -- Convenience store operator Kwik Chek Food Stores and sister company McCraw Oil Co. selected PriceAdvantage's SMART Fuel Pricing management system for its company-operated stores and dealer stores throughout Texas.

Kevin Smartt, CEO of Kwik Chek, and Bill Wilson, president of McCraw Oil, were seeking a fuel pricing solution that could find additional margins and efficiencies in their businesses. According to Colorado Springs, Colo.-based PriceAdvantage, after months of evaluating different options, they selected SMART Fuel Pricing because it not only automated the fuel pricing process, but also provided price change confirmation feedback that was critical.

McCraw Oil supplies motor fuels to the retail stores and several branded dealers throughout the Southwest. Prior to implementing SMART Pricing, the company's dealer locations were experiencing delays in getting pricing strategies implemented in a timely manner, noted Wilson.
