IFS Food to Open Office in China
Berlin, Germany/St. Louis, USA -- International Featured Standards (IFS) is set to open an office in Hefei, China – approximately 280 miles (460 Kilometers) West of Shanghai – in support of its IFS Food Standard. This office will be responsible for the coordination of IFS operations in the Asian market, as well as implementation of the IFS Integrity Program, training through the IFS Academy Program, and coordination of the IFS auditor examination.
As the only truly global food safety standard, IFS now has a network of offices which fully support retailers and suppliers throughout the entire food supply chain. IFS offices and their areas of responsibility include:
- Berlin, Germany -- Headquarters (Business Operations)
- Paris, France -- France, Africa, support for the Quebec Province of Canada
- Milan, Italy -- Coordination of Business in Italy
- St. Louis, USA -- North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean
- Hefei, China -- Asia
