Hickory Harvest Foods hires two executives

Hickory Harvest Foods, an Akron, Ohio-based manufacturer of premium roasted nuts, flavored nuts, trail/snack mixes, imported dried fruit, chocolates/yogurts and candies under its own brands and retailers’ store brands, said it hired Eric McGrath as director of operations and Joe Fischer as Northeast regional sales manager.

McGrath joins Hickory Harvest with more than 10 years of manufacturing, supply chain management, IT and finance experience. Most recently, he worked in supply change management and finance for Flagstone Foods, a division of Treehouse Foods in Minneapolis.

Fischer will manage Hickory Harvest Foods and its affiliate brands, I.M. Good and American Confections for the northeastern part of the United States. He has more than 10 years of sales and sales management experience, most recently with Arizona Beverage, where he served a six-state region.
