Hickory Harvest Foods hires Nicholas Hamilton as plant manager

Hickory Harvest Foods, an Akron, Ohio-based manufacturer of premium roasted nuts, flavored nuts, trail/snack mixes, imported dried fruit, chocolates/yogurts and candies under its own brands and retailers’ store brands, said it hired Nicholas Hamilton as plant manager for its Akron-based nut and candy manufacturing facility.

Hamilton joins Hickory Harvest with more than five years of food manufacturing experience, most recently with King Nut, the company said.

“Nick’s experience in food manufacturing and his specific product knowledge of nuts will help us continue to improve our manufacturing processes and efficiency,” said Mike Swaitkowski, vice president of sales.
