Heirloom tomato pasta sauce
Based in Boisbriand, Quebec, the Mondiv Division of Lassonde Specialties now offers red pasta sauce made from heirloom tomatoes for private branding. Heirlooms are a bit less acidic than other commercially produced tomatoes and have a more pronounced flavor profile, according to the manufacturer.
