Harris Teeter Offers Yearly Payment Option
Harris Teeter has introduced a yearly payment option in celebration of its 150th Express Lane Online Shopping location, which opened recently at the new Canton Crossing Harris Teeter in Baltimore.
The Express Lane Online Shopping service launched in the grocer’s home market of Charlotte, N.C., in 2000, with the goal of making grocery shopping as easy and convenient as possible. The service has since grown to 150 locations throughout Harris Teeter’s market area.
Easier Shopping
Under the new payment option, which joins the $4.95-per-order option and the $16.95 monthly option for frequent users, shoppers can choose to pay $99.95 for the entire year, enabling them to place as many orders as they want all year long without incurring additional charges.
To choose yearly payment, shoppers can add it to their Express Lane Online Shopping bill when placing an order. From that date, the normal service fee is automatically waived on all orders for the next 365 days.

"While they are running kids to and from soccer practice and managing their busy lives, we take care of the shopping. Our Express Lane experts not only hand-select the highest-quality and freshest items available, but they also load the groceries into the shopper’s car and process payment curbside. Our customers never have to leave their vehicle."
Using the service, customers can select any products offered in Harris Teeter stores and use coupons. Additionally, as a special offer, the Matthews, N.C.-based grocer credits the $4.95 service fee for first-time users.
