Harris Teeter introduces Indian simmer sauces

On its Facebook page, Matthews, N.C.-based Harris Teeter introduced a line of store brand Indian Simmer Sauces.

“We’ve gone global,” the Facebook post said. “Discover the taste of India with new HT Traders Indian Simmer Sauces. Available in four delicious flavors!”

The four flavors available to customers are Tikka Masala, Korma, Vindaloo and Jalfrezi, Harris Teeter said on its webpage. It went on to tell customers that “these sauces are perfect for simmering chicken and serving over HT Traders Basmati Rice.”
