Harmons Grocery expands own brand

After spending several years developing the line, West Valley City, Utah-based Harmons Grocery has launched more than 300 store brand food products so far, according to an article posted Nov. 21 on UtahBusiness.com. The Harmons line includes many organic, non-GMO and artisan products, as well as cage-free eggs, the article stated.

“Harmons is known for fresh foods and things [we] do from scratch like in the bakery, deli and meat departments,” Gordon Welch, Harmons’ private label sales director, said. “The private label program for Harmons is the way to bring the center store up to the level we’ve set on the perimeter of the store.”
