Haggen sells 29 of 32 core stores to Albertsons

According to a March 14 Portland Business Journal article, Haggen Inc., Bellingham, Wash., said it sold 29 of its 32 core stores to Albertsons for approximately $106 million. The remaining stores will be closed. The agreement is subject to bankruptcy court approval.
