Haggen to exit Pacific Southwest

Bellingham, Wash.-based Haggen is planning to exit the Pacific Southwest market and realign its operations around 37 core stores and one standalone pharmacy in the Pacific Northwest as part of the Chapter 11 process. All employees in the non-core stores will receive notice and will continue to receive their pay and benefits during the process, the company said.
