H-E-B's new store in Marble Falls, Texas, features expanded selections in many categories.

H-E-B’s new 110,000-square-foot location in Marble Falls, Texas, drew accolades from a staff writer for Texas news website DailyTrib.com, who said that “enormous,” “massive” and “impressive” don’t begin to describe the store.

This H-E-B includes a sizeable section with refrigerated heat-and-eat meals, an expanded organic and gluten-free product selection, a bigger-than-usual bakery, a Mediterranean food bar, freshly made tortillas, a self-serve wine tasting station, a kombucha station that dispenses different flavors of the fermented tea, robust meat and seafood areas, and a “Lake Gear” department customized to the scenic locale’s popular recreational past-times.

In addition, the store sells more than 1,700 wine SKUs and 45,000 different grocery items, according to the article. When fully staffed, the location will employ 340 “partners,” as the San Antonio, Texas-based chain calls its employees.
