San Antonio, Texas-based H-E-B is bringing its own version of the Lone Star State’s signature barbecue to its grocery stores.

According to a Texas Monthly article, the company is opening its version of a neighborhood barbecue joint from Magnolia to Midland, called True Texas BBQ. The grocer is making sides and desserts from scratch, smoking all-natural meats on-site every day, and serving it all in a restaurant setting with local beers on tap.

Each location of True Texas BBQ is designed like a stand-alone restaurant—with an ordering counter, tables and fountain drinks, according to the article. The menu has typical barbeque dishes, ranging from smoked meats by the pound to sandwiches and sides such as baked Frito pie, as well as monthly specials.
