H-E-B continues to expand its presence in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex with the opening of a new store in Allen, Texas on Oct. 4.

Additionally, the regional grocer said it will begin construction on three additional stores in the communities of Melissa, Prosper and Rockwall. These three stores are expected to open in 2025.

The new 117,000-square foot store located at 575 E. Exchange Parkway in Allen will feature the products and services familiar to H-E-B shoppers. These include a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru, curbside and home delivery service, wellness primary care clinic and a True Texas BBQ restaurant. The store will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

In the DFW area, H-E-B already has opened stores in Frisco, Plano, and McKinney. Other stores in the grocer’s pipeline for the Metroplex include the communities of Alliance and Mansfield.

Earlier this year, the multi-format retailer announced plans to open two Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B stores in Dallas. Joe V’s Smart Shop Wheatland will be located at the corner of W. Wheatland Rd. and Highway 67 at 4101 W. Wheatland Road. The other, Joe V’s Smart Shop Buckner is planned at 5204 S. Buckner Blvd. at the corner of Buckner Blvd. and Samuell St.

The Wheatland store is expected to open in late summer 2024 and the Buckner store will open in spring 2025. Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B is a new price format that delivers a uniquely curated assortment of community focused products, and quality, fresh products at low prices.
