GrowGeneration adds supply chain exec
Hydroponic and organic garden center retailer GrowGeneration has a new executive overseeing its supply chain. Dennis Sheldon is joining the Denver-based company as its senior vice president of global supply chain.
Sheldon joins GrowGeneration with extensive experience in retail operations in supply chain. His three decades of experience includes time at PopSockets, where he was COO of the maker of grips, mounts and wallets for digital devices. In that role, he oversaw the company’s global operations and growth initiatives. Sheldon’s also held leadership positions at footwear company Crocs, where he held such titles as senior vice president of global supply chain, senior vice president of global enterprise systems and vice president of global distribution and logistics. Most recently, he was a global operations consultant.
"We started GrowGeneration in 2014 because we saw a clear opportunity to create a national supply chain for the legal cannabis industry," said Darren Lampert, GrowGeneration CEO. "Today, we supply the 'picks and shovels' for many of the country's largest multi-state operators, as well as smaller craft growers. As we continue to build out our network of best-in-class hydroponic and organic garden centers, integrated technology and e-commerce platforms, and private label offerings, Dennis' experience will be invaluable in scaling our supply chain to support our growing operations."
GrowGeneration currently has 53 locations in 12 states.
