Grab-and-go packaging
Tetra Pak now offers a new grab-and-go packaging format called Tetra Top which is 82 percent renewable. A departure from traditional beverage packaging, Tetra Top is said to offer a clean, modern look with a bottle-shaped design and recyclable packaging made primarily from paper, a renewable resource, from sustainably managed forests. The carton offers a low carbon footprint and a manufacturing process that conserves energy and water. The cartons ship flat on rolls for increased distribution and storage efficiencies. The non-transparent paper protects and preserves product quality and offers retailers customizable printing capabilities. The Tetra Top carton is available to retailers for use in their store brand programs. Globally, Tetra Top is available in four different bottom formats (Base, Midi, Mini and Micro), volumes ranging from 100 milliliters to 1000 milliliters and a wide variety of tops and openings, including both tear-off and screw cap. In the United States, Tetra Top is available in the 500 milliliter Midi format with a one step opening.
