In a first for both parties, upstart ice cream company Frutero is launching an exclusive flavor with delivery service Gopuff. The new Tangerine n’ Cream flavor will join Frutero’s lineup of other tropical ice cream flavors such as mango, passionfruit, guava and more, but is only available through Gopuff. Both companies are based out of Philadelphia.

“The inspiration for the tangerine flavor was inspired by my personal experience. As a kid,” Mike Weber, CEO and co-founder of Frutero, told Store Brands, “we always ate those Good Humor Creamsicles in the summertime. The thought of the flavor is very nostalgic for me, but when I actually had it as an adult I realized that the flavor is so artificial. I wanted to make a flavor that would give instant nostalgia back to those summertime memories, but with the best tasting Tangerine flavor.”

Founded in 2013, Gopuff delivers food, drinks, home items, and other convenience items to customers in over 650 cities.
