Global Widget ups CBD in its gummies

Two brands from Tampa, Florida-based Global Widget are launching gummies with more CBD in them. Hemp Bombs and Nature’s Script are debuting the new, more potent gummies alongside packaging the company said offers as much as 70% more gummies per package. 

The company noted that its gummies have made big waves, particularly in the convenience channel, where Hemp Bombs was the leading CBD brand in 2019, per IRI market data. The company, which also makes the Perfect Paws Hemp brand, also offers white label and private label services, as well as CBD education and marketing support.

Since 2016, the company said it has sold more than 55 million CBD gummies. 

"We made a large investment with our gummies and confectionary department along with our high-capacity starchless molding machines, we are infusing them with premium hemp-derived CBD and only the highest-quality ingredients," said Donald Biedrzycki, co-founder of Global Widget. “The company has been able to keep prices low, he said, through efficiencies passed on by our continuous vertical integration business model, while remaining committed to implementing extensive quality control processes that adhere to current good manufacturing practices”

The new gummies are sold in five flavors — green apple, blue raspberry, strawberry, lime and wild berry. The new count size includes bags of eight and 20, as well as bottle counts of 50 and 100.
