Fresh mozzarella cheese sticks

Ridgefield, N.J.-based Biazzo Dairy Products now offers for private branding its new Biazzo Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Snack Sticks. Unlike many snack cheeses, including string cheese, Biazzo Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Snack Sticks can be placed in retailers’ deli or dairy cases, the company maintains. This allows consumers to enjoy “the authentic consistency” of traditional fresh mozzarella in convenient, individually-packaged, one-ounce serving sticks, according to Biazzo Dairy Products. The product is 100 percent fresh mozzarella cheese, with no fillers added, and it is made with simple ingredients such as pasteurized fresh milk. The snack sticks are also free of artificial growth hormones and gluten, contain 5 grams of protein per serving, and are just 70 calories per serving, the company says.
