Food Lion is expanding its home delivery service to communities in Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Food Lion is again expanding its delivery service as a growing number of shoppers in Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia will be able to shop for groceries from the comfort of their homes.

Using the  Food Lion To Go website or the Food Lion To Go app to confirm availability and place orders, consumers will have the delivery fee waived for their first order of $35 or more. The home delivery service is powered by Instacart. With this latest expansion, the grocer now offers Food Lion to Go Pickup or Home Delivery in more than 90% of its 10-state operating area.

“Food Lion To Go’s Home Delivery can be especially beneficial for our customers,” said Evan Harding, director of Digital and eCommerce at Food Lion. “With home delivery, we make grocery shopping easy and convenient, allowing our customers to enjoy more time outdoors and with their families, enjoying picnics, barbecues, and other summer activities.”
