Flavor & Fragrance Specialties adds to team

Flavor & Fragrance Specialties Inc. (FFS), a full-service flavor and fragrance company headquartered in Mahwah, N.J., announced the addition of two employees. Tatyana Petrakov joined FFS as chief perfumer in the Fragrance Lab. Petrakov brings over 30 years' experience in the industry, most recently working for Elias Fragrances on a number of large accounts, including the Philosophy line of fragrances. Her creative perfumery background includes fine fragrances, household, personal care, and air care. She will work closely with the labs, sales staff and marketing to win new business for FFS.

In addition, the FFS regulatory team added Diane Flynn as a regulatory associate. Flynn also recently worked for Elias Fragrances, where her diverse responsibilities included regulatory compliance, quality control, formulation management, and manufacturing and perfume lab operations. In her new role, she will be responsible for global fragrance compliance and adherence to international, federal, state, and customer requirements. She will also work closely with FFS associates on retailer initiatives such Design for the Environment, Green Seal and sustainability programs, and assist with OSHA, HAZMAT and shipping regulations.
