FedUp Foods is launching its new private label cold brew coffee line, the first of its kind to achieve Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) status, according to the company. The new items will be on display at the PLMA 2024 Private Label Trade Show in Chicago.
Company officials said the new cold brew is made using precision brewing to craft a flavor profile that aligns with modern tastes. The result is a balanced, smooth, and full-bodied cold brew that reflects extensive consumer research, perfectly meeting the preferences of today's coffee drinkers.
“Building on our 16 years of expertise in sourcing and fermentation, this new extension of our business provides an opportunity to highlight the regenerative practices at the core of our beverages,” said David Gray, CEO of FedUp Foods. “By focusing on the quality of our sourcing and brewing process, we’re able to create a cold brew that’s not only better for the planet but stands apart in today’s market. With the cold brew market experiencing significant growth at 11.8% year-over-year we feel we can make a real impact here.”
“Our proprietary brewing approach is crafted with rigorous quality standards to create a cold brew that is rich in flavor, smooth on the palate, and accessible to a broad range of coffee drinkers,” added Rupert Brink, research and development food scientist. “This process has allowed us to deliver a complex, balanced, and enjoyable experience, offering bold taste without bitterness.”
The new cold brew line is available in two varieties:
● Medium Roast – A balanced, full-bodied roast with subtle complexity.
● Dark Roast – A robust brew with deep flavor notes.
The cold brew is also available with optional adaptogens, such as Lion’s Mane and L-theanine, offering functional benefits to elevate the coffee experience,” Brink said.
FedUp Foods’ cold brew is made with Certified Organic, Regenerative Organic Certified Arabica beans, sourced through fair and direct trade partnerships. All brews are available in 48 oz. multi-serve bottles made of 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material reflecting the company’s commitment to minimizing environmental impact.
“We've always believed that innovation can go hand in hand with sustainability,” said Jeannine Buscher, executive vice president of Innovation and Co-Founder of FedUp Foods. “This cold brew is a perfect example of that ethos—it’s crafted with care, using regenerative ingredients, while delivering a superior taste that we know our customers will love. It’s coffee done the right way, with attention to the health of the soil, the well-being of the farmers harvesting the beans, and every step of the process in between.”
