ECRM’s 2021 Global Market: Food and Beverage event adds programming
As ECRM builds momentum for its upcoming 2021 Global Market: Food and Beverage event, the company also is building out the programming for the product discovery experience — including a panel moderated by Store Brands executive editor Dan Ochwat and various presenters.
The event, which runs June 28-July 2, has added presenters that include best-selling author and Vayner X chairman Gary Vaynerchuk; Walmart’s Andrea Albright; IRI’s Larry Levin and Joan Driggs; Nielseon IQ’s Liz Buchanan; Phil Lempert, the Supermarket Guru; and more.
In addition to the “What do Buyers Want from a Store Brand Supplier?” panel, the educational lineup will include a panel discussion on certification featuring the Non-GMO Project, the Plant Based Foods Association and Fairtrade America, as well as insights presentations from Menasha and IdeoClick.
The panel on private label, slated to take place July 1 at 1 p.m. EST, will feature panelists Chris Slick, director of own brands at Bashas; Brandon Wehmeyer, director of private brands at Boxed; Jeremy LaTraverse, Southeastern Grocers' category manager for the frozen food division; and Pam Ofri, director of product development and operations for Wakefern Food's own brand division.
ECRM said that so far, it has seen positive reception from the industry, with nearly 1,000 buyers and brands from more than 30 countries register since registration opened three weeks ago.
“We are thrilled by the reception we’ve received for the 2021 Global Market: Food & Beverage,” said Greg Farrar, CEO of ECRM. “Buyers and suppliers from every corner of the world are eager to experience what will be a first-of-its-scale opportunity for product discovery, engagement and education in the food and beverage industry.”
The educational sessions and presentations are in addition to the product discovery experience, which will integrate RangeMe’s product discovery capabilities into ECRM Connect’s virtual meeting platform for brands and buyers.
