ECRM debuts thought-leadership content platform

Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM), a Solon, Ohio-based specialist in business innovation and technology, announced the launch of ECRM Content Gateway, a platform on which buyers, sellers, marketers and merchandisers can find actionable information to help them compete more effectively. The platform's content includes case studies, company profiles, columns from industry experts, multimedia and promotional insights. In addition, the site contains best practices for leveraging ECRM’s digital, event and promotion analytics tools.

“Through our interactions with buyers and sellers at our 50-plus events, we have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends, successes and challenges they are experiencing,” said Joseph Tarnowski, vice president of content for ECRM. “The Content Gateway gives us a platform on which to share these learnings, as well as other content gathered from our events. Some great examples of this are our ‘Event Buzz’ columns, which are based on dozens of one-on-one interviews between ECRM staff and attendees at each of our events. We’re essentially crowdsourcing category insights from our attendees, then sharing them with the industry.”

Users may sort stories on the Content Gateway by category, article type, ECRM event or keyword. Categories covered include grocery, general merchandise, health and beauty care, international, and pharmacy & medical markets, ECRM said. The platform also includes a page with links for ECRM’s social media platforms, on which Content Gateway articles are shared. Additionally, ECRM’s Content Gateway features links to coverage of ECRM by its trade media partners.

Industry professionals may access the Content Gateway via ECRM’s homepage (ECRM.MarketGate.com), which displays links to the four most recent articles, ECRM noted, or they may access it directly at ECRM.MarketGate.com/ContentGateway.

“ECRM has a great story to tell,” Tarnowski said. “Its customers have great stories to tell. Now we have a place where these stories can be told.”
