Earth Fare debuts store prototype with more fresh-prepared selections
Asheville, N.C.-based Earth Fare this week debuted a new store prototype in Concord, N.C. The 24,000-square-foot location includes expanded seafood and produce choices, additional bulk products, slightly wider aisles and more grab-and-go options. Beyond groceries, the new store will feature Earth Fare’s Heirloom Organic Juice Bar, which serves 100 percent certified-organic smoothies and juices, as well as Earth Fare’s Ocala Kitchen, which includes a salad bar, hot foods bar, pizza station and sandwich counter.
Earlier this year, Earth Fare hosted a local vendor fair in search of North Carolina’s best artisan products for the new store. The company also announced a few months ago that its more than 750 private brand food products are now sourced using only non-GMO ingredients.
“We are committed to helping people live longer by providing the cleanest assortments of healthy food available in North America,” said Frank Scorpiniti, president and CEO of Earth Fare, in a statement.
Founded in 1975, Earth Fare has 41 locations in nine states across the Southeast, mid-Atlantic region and Midwest.
