Duck Fat Cooking Spray has high smoke point
Manufactured by Omaha, Neb.-based Cornhusker Kitchen, Duck Fat Cooking Spray contains 20 percent less saturated fat than butter and naturally contains many unsaturated fats such as omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, according to the company. Product has a high smoke point, the temperature at which the oil starts breaking down and giving off smoke that can adversely affect flavor. The manufacturer suggests that this gourmet spray can be used in frying or baking and is well-suited for omelets, casseroles, grilled vegetables, and grilled meat, poultry and seafood of all types.
