Drylock Technologies continues expanding its assortment of baby items in an ongoing effort to offer retailers quality products at a great value.

With a broader selection of sizes in diapers and training pants, Drylock is growing its product selection as the needs of consumers continue to evolve. Additionally, the company remains committed to providing eco-friendly products. Several new items now available are made with bamboo, include unbleached fluff, and are offered with recycled bags or paper bags.

Earlier this year, Drylock Technologies unveiled plans for a new production facility in North Carolina that will focus on the production of baby diapers and baby pants. The 430,000-square-foot plant will be located to the north of Greensboro in the community of Reidsville and create more than 300 jobs.

Matt Koloseike, vice president of Sales & Marketing for Drylock Technologies, discussed the company’s latest efforts in the baby category.

"We continuously look for ways to expand our sustainable offerings and even developed a compostable baby diaper. Aside from being compostable in any standard composting facility, the product content consists of materials that are based on natural, vegetable origins."

Q: What steps has Drylock taken to expand its assortment of baby products?

A: As trends in the baby category are accelerating and the need for larger sizes has grown, Drylock has rapidly expanded its ability to produce larger sizes across the entire line of baby care products, enabling retailers to meet ever-growing consumer demands. We recently added size 8 baby diapers and size 5T/6T training pants.

Additionally, we have also expanded our consumer-focused features and benefits, such as our new Pee and Poo Pouch technology. This latest innovation in baby care provides unmatched comfort and security while ensuring a leak-free experience from every angle. Now, both babies and parents can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep without any disruptions. We offer the Pee and Poo Pouch on all baby diapers and baby pants.

We continuously look for ways to expand our sustainable offerings and even developed a compostable baby diaper. Aside from being compostable in any standard composting facility, the product content consists of materials that are based on natural, vegetable origins for 80% to 90% - and it is the objective to push this over the 90% limit soon. In addition to the diapers, a full range of baby products, including baby pants, will be developed, and marketed.

Q: What are some of the newest products Drylock is offering in the baby category?

A: We are adding sizes such as size 8 baby diapers and size 5T/6T training pants to accommodate the growing baby market. We have also launched a complete line-up of eco-friendly baby products, including bamboo and cotton-enhanced back sheet, bio-based top sheet, unbleached fluff, and fully recycled bags or paper bags. We offer our retail partners a wide array of options to choose from to best fit the needs of their customers.

Q: How are Drylock’s baby products unique from other items in the category on the market?

A: Our entire baby line-up of diapers and training pants is centered around our unique, innovative channel core technology. This technology provides better leakage protection and adapts perfectly to fit the baby’s body, offering more freedom of movement. It enables the diaper to create a cupping effect, absorbing fluids more quickly and preventing fluid run-off, enabling the baby’s skin to remain dry longer. This innovative technology provides a more comfortable experience for the baby and a sleek and environmentally friendly design.

Q: What steps does Drylock take to ensure its products are of the highest quality?

A: Our customers and retail partners deserve nothing but the best. That is why we ensure the quality of our products at all stages of production, transportation, and warehousing. Our top priorities are product safety, quality, legal compliance, and overall excellence.

We have a dedicated team of quality leaders, supervisors, laboratory experts, and full-time quality control inspectors, working closely with the production team at every stage of the manufacturing process.

Product quality is monitored every step of the way:

  • Cutting-edge vision systems automatically adjust the process in the line to adhere to strict quality standards.
  • Quality inspectors use checklists to instantly perform a series of tests and checks on each product along the assembly line.
  • Before, during, and after production, all products are tested in our internal state-of-the-art laboratories to ensure all specifications are met or exceeded.

The result of this efficient approach? Immediate feedback, instant optimization, and less waste, enabling sustainable and high-quality products for consumers. Our quality and product safety processes are certified with programs like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IFS-HPC, and BRCGS-CP standards.

Q; What advantages does Drylock offer to retailers that are looking to develop a private label line of baby products?

A: We offer the most sustainable and innovative baby products available in the retail brand market today, combining state-of-the-art innovation and continuous expansion into the markets with the highest consumer demand.

In line with this strategy, we recently invested in new baby product operations in Reidsville, North Carolina, and in Europe and Brazil, increasing our global capacity and speed to market year over year. This dedicated focus, along with our commitment to sustainability, offers a partnership like no other.
