Dollar General Virtual Days of Beauty Set For July

Dollar General will host its virtual Days of Beauty event from July 11-16, which is being touted by the retailer as a celebration that will spotlight multicultural beauty and wellness through tutorials and beauty talks on textured hair, makeup and nail products.

The full schedule is available online and will be streamed live on the DG Beauty Instagram page (@DollarGeneralBeauty), and on Dollar General’s YouTube channel.

Leading this year’s festivities is celebrity guest Sherri Shepherd, actress, comedienne, bestselling author and an Emmy award-winning former co-host of ABC’s The View. In addition, the DG Beauty Instagram page will feature daily online presentations with more than beauty influencers leading makeup tutorials and beauty discussions.

Dollar General will also extend its mission of Serving Others and present the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NBCW) with a $10,000 donation. The funds aim to further NCBW’s mission of advocating on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in health, education and economic empowerment areas.
