Dollar General Unveils Back-To-School Specials
Dollar General is launching its back-to-school promotions in stores across the country, offering parents and teachers a host of products needed for when classes return in the coming weeks.
“Back-to-school shopping can be stressful for many consumers, especially in this challenging economy,” said Shareeka Meadows, vice president, division merchandise manager, stationery and apparel at Dollar General. “More than ever, our customers are looking for affordability to help them stay within budget, and convenience to save them time.”
The retailer is offering $1 and less on school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, and folders. Other featured items on sale include $5 backpacks, decorative products such as “First Day of School” signs, along with unique items such as clogs and charms.
Additionally, through September 6, Dollar General is offering teachers a 30% discount on school supplies. To qualify for the bonus savings, teachers need to register and complete the verification process at DG’s Teacher’s Central.
Dollar General is also offering shoppers $2 off any qualifying school supplies purchase of $10 or more on select dates in July and August.
