Dollar General Announces 3 New Leadership Hires

The new hires enhance the dollar giant's operations across several fields.

Discount retailer Dollar General has announced three new leadership hires that will further the company’s store operations, store count and digital operations.

Ariel dela Cruz has joined Dollar General as the divisional vice president of store operations. Dela Cruz brings more than 20 years of experience to the retailer, including continuous improvement and P&L management. In his new role, dela Cruz will provide support across the Dollar General’s store operations network with a focus on employee-centric initiatives.

Tim Jagneaux has been named Dollar General’s vice president of construction. Jagneaux will provide leadership for the field construction teams responsible for delivering new store openings, relocations and remodels across the country. He has more than 20 years of experience across multiple construction industries.

Finally, Megan Kokoska has joined Dollar General as vice president of digital engagement. Kokoska will work to personalize the digital experience and grow digital engagement with the retailer’s customers. She has more than 20 years of digital marketing and communications experience, including leadership of digital customer engagement, digital advertising, e-commerce, content marketing, digital product management, user experience and integrated marketing campaigns.

Dollar General operated 18,818 stores in 47 states as of Oct. 28, 2022, where its private label grocery and home products can be found.
