CVS, Walgreens step up their health game
The two companies have opened redesigned concept stores that allocate more space to their health services departments and less to its typical convenience store staples.
Deerfield, Illi.-based, Walgreens and Woonsocket, R.I.-based, CVS Health are reworking their in-store layouts to make consumers feel as if they are in a doctor’s office, according to a CNBC article.
The two companies have opened redesigned concept stores that allocate more space to their health services departments and less to its typical convenience store staples. Although these redesigns are currently just in the recently opened concept stores, they could be blueprints for future locations.
