CVS Pharmacy hires former Walgreens executive

Woonsocket, R.I.-based CVS Pharmacy has hired Adam Pellegrini to lead the company’s consumer health efforts, according to an internal memo obtained by CNBC.

According to the memo, Pellegrini joined the company as its senior vice president of transformation consumer health products this week. Pellegrini will report to CVS Chief Transformation Officer Alan Lotvin and “lead the ideation and incubation of consumer-focused health products and services that drive enterprise value and growth,” the memo said, according to CNBC.
