Symphony GOLD partnered with Finnish software company Fonella Oy to integrate its Spottio in-store shopping modules and magnetic mapping technology into its GOLD ENGAGE customer engagement and loyalty management software. Using Spottio’s geolocation and proximity aware technology, GOLD ENGAGE makes it easy for customers to create a shopping list at home and guide them through the store as they search for items. Customers are then notified of complementary products or personalized offers, creating impulse purchase opportunities. Retailers can also view shopper heat maps to visualize how target customer segments shop a store.
