Custom entrées, side dishes and sauces
Request Foods is one of the largest frozen food co-packers in the country, producing nearly 500 different custom entrées, side dishes, appetizers, sauces and desserts — each recipe formulated to meet a specific customer requirement, whether foodservice, private label or national brand.
Our extensive production capabilities allow us to package these products in single-serve containers, skillet meal bags, steam table pans up to 6 lbs. and pouches. In all recipes, our process is consistent: We prepare the individual ingredients — simmering our own sauces, cooking fresh meats and vegetables, preparing our own fresh pasta — carefully assembling and then quick freezing. When the product is heated for use, the ingredients come together for the first time — creating a fresh, just-made taste profile.
Request Foods’ two facilities are GFSI Certified under the BRC Scheme. Better quality is one more assurance that Request Foods products are produced, processed, prepared and handled according to the highest safety standards.
Our single-source capabilities include three test kitchens with 10 trained chefs who are continually developing new products to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs.
