The Container Store Expanding In Virginia

The new locations bring the retailer's total store count to 104 nationwide.

The Container Store is opening two new stores in Virginia.

The Container Store is expanding in Virginia with new store openings planned in June and July.

On June 15, the storage and organization specialty store will celebrate the grand opening of its store at Springfield Plaza at 6412 Springfield Plaza, in Springfield. On July 27, the retailer will open a new store at One Loudoun at 20420 Exchange St., in Ashburn.

These two stores will bring The Container Store’s retail presence to six storefronts within Virginia and 104 nationwide.

The Springfield and Ashburn stores are The Container Store’s newest additions to the company’s small-store format. They will feature a Custom Spaces Studio showcasing custom closets, living and garage displays of its exclusive Elfa and Preston lines, as well as a design center.

Shoppers at the new stores will find a curated assortment of storage and organization solutions for every area of the home that complements its Custom Spaces offering, and discover unique products in categories like travel, pet care, and home fragrances. Along with complementary in-store or in-home design consultations, additional services offered will include professional installation and in-home organization.
