C.H. Guenther & Son Acquires Fresca Mexican Foods
Food manufacturer C.H. Guenther & Son LLC (CHG) has acquired Fresca Mexican Foods LLC, a maker of flour tortillas, corn tortillas, and tortilla chips.
According to CHG, the acquisition expands its tortilla manufacturing capacity while also deepening its relationships with foodservice and quick-service restaurants.

C.H. Guenther & Son is owned by Pritzker Private Capital, along with management and co-investors. C.H. Guenther & Son has more than 5,000 employees in 30 food manufacturing locations in the United States, Canada, and Western Europe, and in its corporate office in San Antonio, Texas. The company produces private label and branded products.
Fresca Mexican Foods manufactures homestyle flour tortillas, die-cut flour tortillas, corn tortillas, and tortilla chips in its state-of-the-art, 190,000-square-foot facility in Caldwell, Idaho. The company has been in business since 1977 and has 375 employees.
