CEO Rick Anicetti resigns from The Fresh Market

Rick Anicetti has resigned from his position as CEO of Greensboro, N.C.-based The Fresh Market, which is offering no details about his departure. The company named CFO Brian Nicholson interim CEO, effective immediately.

“Along with Mr. Nicholson, The Fresh Market’s current senior leadership team will continue to execute the company’s strategic plan and adapt as needed to the evolving marketplace,” The Fresh Market said in a statement.
