Carnivore Meat Co. appoints private label manager

Green Bay, Wis.-based Carnivore Meat Co., which specializes in raw pet food and treats, recently named Scott Jorgensen to the position of private label manager. He will lead the company’s private brand and co-packing business unit.

A University of Iowa graduate, Jorgensen has more than 15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing sales and the management of complex custom projects.

“Growth projections for the raw pet food category have been extremely positive over the past few years, with major brands and retailers aggressively entering this niche segment,” said Kevin Malnor, vice president of sales and marketing for Carnivore Meat Co. As a result, the company “has experienced a significant uptick in inquiries from national and international companies seeking a private label partner to either expand existing product lines or develop new category entrants. With the addition of Scott, we’re able to increase our focus on and better service this business segment.”
