Briggo Coffee opening in Houston Whole Foods

Briggo Coffee will serve Whole Foods’ private label Allegro Coffee.

Austin-based Briggo Coffee, the inventor of the first robotic barista, will open its first grocery store location in the U.S. inside a new Houston Whole Foods Market in November.

Briggo Coffee’s opening is part of the Friends of Whole Foods Market program, where the Austin, Texas-based retailer partners with outside chefs, culinary and lifestyle brands to bring shoppers innovative in-store experiences. Briggo Coffee will serve Whole Foods’ private label Allegro Coffee.

Shoppers can experience Briggo's "Connected Coffee" technology by ordering ahead via the Briggo mobile app or at multiple touchscreen kiosks throughout the store. Customers can choose from coffees, cappuccinos, seasonal latte, and several other gourmet hot and iced coffee and tea drinks.

“We're honored to be selected by Whole Foods Market to deliver a transformative in-store coffee experience. Briggo uniquely offers premium quality and consistency to on-the-go customers, and we couldn't be more excited to serve the Houston community with such a beloved grocery retail partner," said Briggo CEO Kevin Nater.
