BJ’s Wholesale Club is planning to open three new clubs in the coming months, including one in a new state.

In addition to new clubs in Davenport, Fla., and McDonough, Ga., BJ’s will open its first Tennessee location in La Vergne, located 20 miles southeast of downtown Nashville. The new Florida and Georgia locations are slated to open later this month, while the flagship Tennessee story is expected to open sometime in the first half of the year. In September, the membership-based wholesale retailer broke ground in a new state with its first Indiana location.

“Our club openings in Davenport and McDonough are part of our continued growth within the Orlando and Atlanta markets, respectively,” said Bill Werner, executive vice president of  Strategy and Development at BJ’s Wholesale Club. “Additionally, the opening of our club in La Vergne represents the first of what will be multiple locations in the greater Nashville market. We can’t wait to welcome our newest BJ’s members this year and help provide these local communities with unbeatable value and incredible savings.”

Each new BJ’s Wholesale Club location is expected to create approximately 150 jobs for its respective community, totaling approximately 450 employment opportunities for the first half of the year within BJ’s newest club openings.

All three new locations will have a BJ’s Gas location on-site, along with a selection of fresh foods, produce, a full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies and various exclusive offerings from the company’s private brands. Curbside pickup, pick up in-club and same-day and standard delivery are all available at the new locations.

The expansions come as the retailer continues to see financial gains. In its most recent quarter, net sales for the 13-week period ended Oct. 29 were $4.7 billion, an increase of 12.3% to the comparable quarter the previous year.
