Best in class: These store brands were among the 2021 Product of the Year winners

Aldi made the Product of the Year list — four times.

The off-price grocery retailer was awarded the honor for its store branded Emporium Selection 1,000 Day Gouda & 4 Year Cheddar, Simply Nature Bean Chips, Friendly Farms Almondmilk Coffee Creamer and Stonemill Everything Bagel Seasoning.

The other retailer with a store brand winner was CVS Pharmacy, whose CVS Health brand Live Better Apple Cider Vinegar and Turmeric was named the winner in the functional beverage category.

The awards were among 41 picked by Product of the Year USA, the largest consumer-voted award for product innovation, for its 2021 honors. Chosen by 40,000 American shoppers in a national survey conducted by Kantar each of the winning products has been awarded as the most innovative in their category by Product of the Year.
