Belk Names New President, Chief Merchandising Officer

Retail veteran MaryAnne Morin joins the department store retailer and will have oversight over its private label efforts.

Regional department store retailer Belk has named MaryAnne Morin as president and chief merchandising officer. 

Officially taking her new role on Oct. 26, Morin will lead the retailer’s merchandising, planning and private brands teams. 

She previously served as president of Stein Mart and president of Republic Clothing Group. Additionally, Morin served as executive vice president at Hudson Bay Company and worked for Lord & Taylor, Macy's, and Echo Design Group.
