Be part of a groundbreaking category management study

3/23/2016

Store Brands' publisher, Stagnito Business Information + Edgell Communications, Deerfield, Ill., is partnering with the Center for Sales Leadership at Chicago-based DePaul University to conduct a groundbreaking study on collaboration in category management.

The Category Management Association (CMA), in collaboration with the Center for Sales Leadership at DePaul University, is researching collaboration practices in category management (CM). The goal is to develop a detailed, empirically validated CM collaboration model to help improve CM partnerships. The model will allow CM professionals to identify the drivers of — and obstacles to — CM collaboration, as well as guide efforts toward creating and sustaining the most effective and profitable CM partnerships.

The survey is open to all sides of CM, including retailers, manufacturers/suppliers, wholesalers/distributors and third-party category management participants (e.g., consultants, data suppliers, etc.).

If you are involved in any aspect of CM at your company, we invite you to join this study. It will require only approximately 10 minutes of your time and will provide you and other CM practitioners with invaluable and actionable information. Simply click on the following link to participate: http://depaul.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_eJyv3M7waHJVJPv

A report detailing the research findings will be presented at the Spring 2016 Sales Leadership Conference at DePaul University and made available on the CMA website. Results will also be featured in Stagnito Business Information + Edgell Communications publications, including Store Brands, Progressive Grocer, Convenience Store News and Retail Leader.

As our thanks for your participation, we will also send all respondents an exclusive report of this study: "Successful Collaboration in Category Management: Drivers and Barriers.” In addition, all respondents will be entered into a drawing to receive one of five Apple Watches.
