Mark Tritton, president and CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond, will deliver the keynote for the International Housewares Association’s upcoming virtual trade show. The event, Connect Spring, will feature a fireside chat keynote with Tritton, who will discuss his company’s agenda for this year and beyond, as well as how he is retooling BB&B’s brand.
Tritton has been at the helm of the home retailer since October 2019, and has worked to build a leadership team focused on growth. As part of his ambitious agenda, Tritton has committed to launching one new private brand per month for the next six months as part of the retailer’s effort to build loyalty and drive sales with owned brands and launch 10 new private brands in the next two years.
Before leading Bed Bath & Beyond, Tritton was Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, where he helped build out the retailer’s omnichannel shopping experience. His career also includes experience in merchandising, product design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution for such companies as Nordstrom, Timberland and Nike. He currently serves on the board of Nordstrom.
Connect Spring kicks off March 16 and lasts until March 23. Tritton’s session will take place on March 23 at 11 a.m. CDT.
