Bake’n Joy Foods has completed a construction and redesign project of its 47,000-square foot manufacturing facility in North Andover, Mass.

The project, managed by design and construction firm Dacon Corporation, entailed renovating and expanding Bake’n Joy’s facility that dates back to the 1970s. Operational efficiency, high performance processes, product innovation and safety were the project’s driving factors. The project also included customizing an environment to accommodate offices, employee support areas, shipping/receiving docks, a cooler corridor, manufacturing, baking, engineering and conference rooms.

“Bake’n Joy’s new production space is fueled by entrepreneurship,” said Kevin Quinn, CEO of Dacon. “Their heritage of ingenuity from World War II through today is seen in their ability to respond to consumer needs.”

Now in its 81st year, Bake’n Joy Foods supplies frozen ready-to-bake batters, baked items and dry mixes to a broad range of customers that include wholesale bakeries, healthcare, academic, convenience, hospitality, restaurant and retail.
