Amazon shipping expired food to consumers?

Seattle-based Amazon has been apparently shipping expired food products to consumers through third party vendors on its website.

After reviewing numerous product reviews on Amazon’s website, CNBC reports that consumers are complaining about counterfeit and unsafe products being sold through third party sellers on the company’s online marketplace. 

According to CNBC, the products range from baby formula to beef jerky and are arriving at consumers’ homes spoiled and well past their expiration dates.
