Amazon Prime Day to feature private brand groceries

This years’ Prime Day 2019 includes various grocery angles.

Seattle-based Amazon is extending its Prime Day food deals beyond its bricks-and-mortar Whole Foods Market and Amazon Go stores. 

According to Eater, the company will have deals on Amazon Fresh meal kits and private label grocery brands such as Happy Belly and Wickedly Prime.

This years’ Prime Day 2019 includes various grocery angles, from third-party brands big and small, to Amazon’s own private label brands, to Whole Foods, according to Eater. A few deals actually dropped ahead of Prime Day, which has been extended to two days this year on July 15 and 16:

  • From now until July 14, shoppers can get 20% off certain Amazon-exclusive pantry items including snacks, coffee, and other Amazon private label brands

  • Shoppers can also get $10 off Prime Pantry orders of $40 or more with the promo code PANTRY

  • For groceries, from now through the end of Prime Day (July 16), shoppers can use the promo code FRESH15 for a $15 discount off their first Amazon Fresh order (for minimum $35 orders)
