Amazon has added another cashier-free store
The new location is approximately 1,700 square feet.
Seattle-based Amazon has added its second cashier-free Amazon Go location in New York, making it the 13th location in the U.S.
According to CNBC, the latest store location in New York is approximately 1,700 square feet and located in Midtown Manhattan. It’s larger than the other New York location, which is approximately 1,300-square-feet.
“New York really fits ... what we’re looking for,” said Cameron Janes, Amazon’s vice president of physical stores, reported by CNBC. “It’s high density. ... Lots of people on the go. It’s a great fit for us.”
