Amazon Go lands in Chicago

10/5/2018

A few weeks ago, Bill Schober, editorial director for the Path to Purchase Institute, visited the new Amazon Go store in Chicago (at 113 South Franklin Street). The Path to Purchase Institute is a sister brand of Store Brands.

This is the fourth Amazon Go store; three are in Seattle. Bloomberg is reporting that, "according to people familiar with the matter,” Amazon might have as many 3,000 more of these cashierless stores operating by the end of 2021.

Check out Schober’s account in words and photographs of what he saw at Amazon Go.
