Amazon gets final approval from Arlington County Board
Amazon is taking its second headquarters to Northern Virginia after the company finally received the approval it needed to take the big leap, according to Bloomberg.
After six-and-a-half hours of testimony, protests and discussions by various individuals who argued for and against the deal, the five-member Arlington County Board unanimously approved the $23 million incentive for the company to build its headquarters in Crystal City, a neighborhood located just outside of Washington, D.C.
