Aldi is rolling into February with the opening of four new stores as the discount grocer continues to expand its presence in all parts of the U.S.

February 1 will see the company open stores in Phoenix; Temecula, Calif.; St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Bartlett, Ill. The stores in Phoenix and Bartlett are the first in those cities for Aldi.

The Temecula store is the second Aldi location in that community while St. Petersburg will welcome its third Aldi store. The company has had a presence in Temecula for more than seven years, and for more than 16 years in St. Petersburg.

To celebrate the grand opening of the four stores, the first 100 customers at each location will receive a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend February 1 through February 4 for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Tom Cindel, Moreno Valley Group director of Operations & Logistics.  “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Phoenix and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
